An equally penniless musician (Stelios Vokowitz) falls in love with her, but she is in love with Loris Alekos Alexandrakis), who comes from a wealthy bourgeois family. Loris falls victim to a conniving woman and abandons Manto, who is pregnant and soon gives birth to their child. The penniless musician stands by her, but soon she finds out that she is suffering from a serious illness and takes her own life.
